Is it really possible to get a free Xbox 360? So in surfing the web for years I noticed a bunch of offers to get free Xbox 360s.
I’m as skeptical as they come on this stuff, but I thought I’d experiment and see if it can really happen.
After researching a bit, I found a site where you have to complete one offer, and then get 8 people to also complete one offer.
I’ve been curious for a while about blockbuster’s online service, so I just did that one ($9.99 for the first month). I’ll probably cancel after that if I don’t use it enough.
Anyway- if you’ve ever been curious about this like I have, let’s see what will happen! If you complete an offer, you begin your own process of getting a free xbox.
Fans once again combined efforts an did the impossible. The Save Jericho Again spot can be viewed in higher resolution at www.savejerichoagain.com, or right here in youtube form:
Like the small midwestern town who refused to give up when adversity came strolling through town, Jericho fans simply refuse to let their show go. Twenty three nuclear bombs, and 2 cancellations later, we continue to fight.
While CBS Television has given up on Jericho (for now), the production company who owns the rights to the show are entertaining the idea of letting it live on. Fans are sending hand written letters and postcards to:
Here’s a postcard design based on a movie poster I did to keep people inspired. It has White around the edges for easy printing.
One of the things I love about Jericho is all of the small details from the props and set departments. Jericho is brought to life by the authenticity of the little things we see in each episode.
Episode 2 (Condor) included a cool security badge worn by Jake and his deputies. It took me forever to find a frame where it was readable, but I finally deciphered the design and words included on it. I recreated it for those interested.
Next time the ASA president comes to town, print this out and hang it around your neck:
There are many talented artists in the Jericho fandom doing incredible things to promote season 2. I was recently visiting Jericho Rally Point, and came across a sweet post by member Casllisto925. She has created some bookmarks that not only look great, but are a fabulous way to invite friends to tune in.
These nicely designed bookmarks come laid out on a standard 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper (preferably cardstock), 6 up for convenient printing. There are 8 designs to choose from, and they are all great layouts.
Here are previews of a few favorites (link below for download instructions:
After watching the previews of the upcoming episode of Jericho (Condor), I noticed that all of the computers in Jennings and Rall had simple (but very cool) desktop wallpaper. I thought it might be fun to create an animated screensaver based on the design used in the episode.
This is my first forray into screensavers (and a total experiment), so I don’t know much about them. I’m also a Mac user, so I haven’t tested it on the PC, but a bunch of great chat regulars at Jeritopia tested it out for me (Thanks Akansan, blackbird, nibbers, flutterby). I’m told one Vista user had issues while others did not.
Anyway, here’s a preview, and instructions are below for downloading the installers:
Thanks to you, Jericho is back! What an amazing job you have done so far. Now it’s time to take it to the next level and CBS wants to arm you for the battle.
Each week, we will send the Rangers (and only the Rangers) a link to an exclusive clip to the upcoming episode. Only Rangers and their friends and families will be able to watch it. Feel free to send this link to everyone on your e-mail list. You are their key to seeing an exclusive clip of the show long before it airs. Let’s make this thing grow!
Now here’s the capper… if we get 1,000,000 hits to this website, CBS will send you a link to get the secret, alternate ending to the series! No matter what ending airs, you will be able to see the other ending.
So go nuts, again. Support Jericho and get a part of the show no one will ever see.
Here is a link to an exclusive clip from next Tuesday’s episode. This link is a password protected link just for you. Below is the link with logline and password info:
Jon Turteltaub and all the writers, producers, cast and crew of JERICHO
It’s a very sweet clip! Check it out:
